Counting Down

The countdown has begun, actually, it's been going on for quite awhile.
15 days til eighth grade graduation
Nine days of school days left
19 days til Lexi turns 14
Lexi is very excited about becoming a freshman in high school.
It's going to be weird to have Lexi in high school. She will be starting high school and I'll still have three little kiddos not even in Kindergarten! She's chose her classes already for next year and I'm sure she'll do well in them. I would bet Lexi is looking forward to one thing in particular . . . the boys, whoops, I mean "hot guys". That's the part that makes me worry. One day I know Lexi will be bringing home a boy that is more to her than just a friend. eeekk!
We are having a graduation/14th birthday party for her. Below is her invitation (this web version is a tad blurry). We are having two different parties that weekend. One for Johns family and one for mine. Our families are on the larger side, so it's easier for us to have them on two different days. We don't have the room to have everyone in our house at once.

Congrats Lexi, what an exciting time in your life. So much to look forward to. You're such a pretty girl I'm sure the boys will be flocking to your door. Mom & Dad best keep a Big Stick handy. LOL Treasure all of these memories, they will serve you well in your later years. Grannie02 (Kay)

WOW!! Lexi it is so hard for me to believe you have grown into such a beautiful young woman in such a short time. The invite and pic of you is so special..(Rach great job)
Lexi remember to stay as sweet as you are right now.. Please don't let the bad infuences in on you and to change your life.. I believe you are such a strong woman and you can change others life and not let them change yours.
And remember you don't have to grow up so fast.. ask any adult...They wished that they had taken highschool a little slower.
Congrats :)

Congratulations on your graduation Lexi! Happy 14th Birthday too! Look out High School ... here comes Lexi!!!
Only bad thing about being 14 is that it is extremely easy to do dumb things......so stay smart!
Your invitation is so nice and the pic of you is wonderful...you are a very pretty girl and don't look dumb at all!!!!
